If your head is still spinning over all of the talk about MACRA, MIPS and Alternative Payment Models (APMs) check out this great site that CMS just released. It is one of the most simplified and easy to understand explanations of how providers may be impacted by these new programs that are replacing Meaningful Use and PQRS.

The biggest takeaway I get from this page is that it will be pretty easy for most physicians to, at a minimum, avoid any negative payment impact when this program starts in 2017. By simply submitting some data in 2017 you can avoid a penalty. That is actually an improvement for providers who have been penalized for not meeting all of the measures for Meaningful use and/or PQRS.

There will be a lot more information to come, but for now, take a look at this overview and you should be able to at least relax a little bit when it comes to MACRA, MIPS and APMs.
